Woman Kicks Off Remarkable Journey in Lower Saxony: "Just Go For It"
Diana Brückner, a 60-year-old trained geriatric nurse from Königslutter, recently embarked on a remarkable journey. She undertook a 520-kilometer bike tour to raise funds for the ASB Wishmobile of Lower Saxony, a charitable mobile unit that creates beautiful memories in a time marked by pain and sorrow.
Brückner, who doesn't cycle regularly, found the bike tour challenging. However, her determination was unwavering, as she had a heartfelt desire to support the Wishmobile, a cause that became even more personal after her sister passed away at the age of 67.
Preparing for her journey, Brückner spent two days checking her navigation system, gathering supplies, and getting her e-bike ready. The tour took her from Königslutter to Gütersloh and back, a route she had never cycled before.
Brückner's efforts were met with positive feedback from the Wishmobile team and News38, who reported on her experiences during the tour. She shared her story with the people she met along the way, spreading awareness about the Wishmobile and its mission.
The tour was not just a physical challenge for Brückner, it was also an emotional journey. She found the experience of cycling and being in nature to be very impressive. Through this experience, she learned about her ability to handle difficult situations and rely on herself.
Brückner was thrilled with the warm and nice responses she received during her tour. Despite the challenges, she found the responses from strangers she met along the way to be encouraging and uplifting.
In the end, Brückner collected a total of 1,441.39 euros during her bike tour. She plans to embark on another bike tour in the future, continuing her mission to support the ASB Wishmobile of Lower Saxony.

Diana Brückner's determination to support the ASB Wishmobile extended to embracing an active lifestyle, as she embarked on an outdoor-living adventure: a 520-kilometer bike tour. Despite the challenges of home-and-garden preparations, such as checking her navigation system and gathering supplies, she found the journey rewarding, not just for the funds raised, but also for the personal growth it offered, especially in sports, where she discovered her resilience and self-reliance.
