Watch as 9 marching bands from the local area showcase their talents in Manheim Township this weekend.
Get ready for an evening of captivating music and visual spectacle as the Manheim Township Marching Band hosts "A Showcase in Sight and Sound" on Saturday. The event will take place at Manheim Township High School's Gene Kruis Field, located at 115 Blue Streak Blvd., Lancaster.
Each participating band will perform their half-time show, featuring complex musical arrangements, precise drill movements, and vibrant visual effects. Nine local bands are taking part, including those from Elizabethtown Area, Ephrata, Tulpehocken Area, Lampeter-Strasburg, Solanco, Lancaster Catholic, Penn Manor, J.P. McCaskey, and, of course, Manheim Township high schools.
The gates will open at 5 p.m., and the music will start at 6 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and both cash and Venmo will be accepted. The cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Families can pay a maximum of $40.
