Dortmund Police Headquarters to Host 25th DEW21 Museum Night on September 20, 2025

The Dortmund Police Headquarters is set to open its doors to the public for the 25th DEW21 Museum Night on September 20, 2025. This diverse program, suitable for all ages, promises an educational and entertaining experience.

Located at Markgrafenstraße 102, 44139 Dortmund, the Police Headquarters encourages visitors to make use of public transportation for their journey.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the police exhibition 110, which includes an audio guide offering insights into the history and work of the police. Headphones are encouraged to be brought by visitors.

Guided tours through the cells of the police detention facility will be offered hourly, with a maximum group size of 15 people per tour. Free tickets for these tours are available 30 minutes before the start of each tour.

For those interested, there will be opportunities to learn about home security and ask questions about cybercrime and fraud at the Criminal Police Advisory Office.

The event will also feature demonstrations by police dog handlers at 4, 5, and 6 pm. Additionally, there will be three performances of the traffic prevention puppet show "Moses becomes a police dog" at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:30 pm.

Old and current police vehicles, including a vintage VW T3, will be displayed for visitors to enjoy. For current information, visitors can check the Dortmund Police website or social media channels.

Admission to the event is free, and tickets can be purchased at participating institutions, at the DSW21 customer center, or online at dortmunder-museumsnacht.ticket.io. However, please note that the entire program may be subject to the current operational situation and could be canceled at short notice in major incidents.
