Troisdorf's Kulturrucksack Offers Unique Storytelling Workshop for Kids
Troisdorf's Kulturrucksack program presents a unique workshop for children and young people aged 10 to 14. Led by renowned illustrator Lucia Zamolo, the free event challenges traditional storytelling norms and encourages self-expression.
The workshop uses the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood as a starting point. However, it questions traditional roles and encourages participants to reimagine the story with fresh ideas and narrative structures. Stefanie Harjes, the illustrator working on the Little Red Riding Hood story for the program, will support the workshop.
Participants will explore the original tale, create their own stories, and illustrate them. The workshop aims to promote female empowerment and self-reliance, teaching children to think independently and express their creativity.
The workshop, part of Troisdorf's Kulturrucksack program, is open to children aged 10 to 14 and is free of charge. It offers a unique opportunity to challenge traditional storytelling, express creativity, and learn from renowned illustrator Lucia Zamolo.
