In the heart of Munich, the Wiesn experience is a whirlwind of excitement and energy. For Daniel Neuner and Traudi Vordermaier, the duo from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Wiesn is both demanding and beautiful. They have been gracing the stages of the Schützenlisl tent for four consecutive years, offering a unique and captivating performance.

The Schützenlisl tent, run by the Stiftl family, provides a warm, laid-back atmosphere compared to other Oktoberfest tents. It's a place where everyone knows each other, and friendships have formed over the years. The duo's repertoire is spontaneous, promising a varied performance with different instruments each time.

Neuner and Vordermaier alternate with other groups until early evening, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere in the tent. This year, they will be performing as the Werdenfelser Woi Fahrts Musi.

The Werdenfelser Woi Fahrts Musi will be performing at the Schützenlisl tent on several dates during the Old Wiesn in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The dates include September 20, 25, 27, 28, and 30, as well as October 1, 3, 4, and 5. Each performance will take place from 10:30 to 17:30.

Daniel Neuner, in his excitement for the performances, expresses his delight at being back at the Wiesn. To preserve his voice, Neuner opts for a warm cup of tea instead of a cold Maß of Wiesn beer. He has also converted a golf cart to transport all their equipment in one go from the car to the festival tent.

Neuner describes the Schützenlisl tent as not loud and brutal, making it a perfect setting for the Werdenfelser duo. The daily commute to Munich and back takes a toll on them, but they enjoy it, relishing the opportunity to share their music with the Wiesn crowd.

Journalist Vinzent Fischer wrote this article, capturing the essence of the Schützenlisl tent and the performances of Daniel Neuner and Traudi Vordermaier. Alongside numerous other groups, the Werdenfelser Woi Fahrts Musi promises another enchanting Oktoberfest at the Schützenlisl tent.
