Over the fall break, extending from October 21st to November 4th, the Children and Youth Park Haspe located at Talstraße 32 presents an assorted roster of activities catering to kids and teenagers. These outings originate and conclude at the youth center, necessitating prior registration. On the opening day of the break, children ranging from age 6 to 13 will partake in a specific event. Registration is mandatory for participation.

Autumn Holiday Program for Children and Youth at Children and Youth Park Haspe

The Children and Youth Park Haspe has announced an engaging autumn holiday program for children between the ages of 6 and 13 and teenagers. The two-week-long program, scheduled from October 21 to November 4, offers a range of outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, workshops, and group activities at various locations.

The program begins with a thrilling trip to the Gevelsberg adventure park on October 21 for children aged 6 to 13, running from 10 am to 5 pm, with a participation fee of 3.50 euros. Another highlight for youngsters is the Jakkolo tournament on the adventure playground on October 23 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, open to the same age group.

On October 24, children aged 6 to 14 can embark on a visit to the open-air museum to build their own kites, with a participation fee of 2.50 euros. The following day, October 25, offers children an opportunity to paint animal motifs using self-made earth colors and engrave them on slate tablets using flint tools at the Werdringen water castle from 10 am to 5 pm, again with a 2.50 euro participation fee.

Family Day is scheduled for October 26 on the adventure playground. Children under 6 are also welcome to participate with their parents. A campfire with stick bread will be held from 3 pm. Indoor football will take place in the "LenneArena" in Hohenlimburg on October 27 for children aged 7 to 13, with participants encouraged to bring comfortable sports attire, extra clothes, and sufficient food and drinks. This offer is free of charge and funded by Arbeitsgemeinschaft Offene Türen Nordrhein-Westfalen, but registration is mandatory.

The week of Halloween sees a Halloween party for girls aged 6 to 13 on October 28 from 1 pm to 7 pm at the Eckesey youth center.

The second week commences with a joint cinema visit, details of which will be announced on October 26, for children aged 6 to 13. Another Family Day takes place on November 2, with roasted stick bread at a campfire for all children and parents from 3 pm. After a joint breakfast on November 3 at 11 am, children between 6 and 13 will enjoy a day of forest activities playing Forest Monopoly. The holiday program ends with a cookie baking event for girls aged 6 to 13 at the Loxbaum youth center on November 4 from 11 am to 5:30 pm, with a participation fee of 50 cents.

During the Autumn Holiday Program, young attendees can explore the open-air museum and create their own kite on October 24 (ages 6-14), participating for 2.50 euros. Furthermore, the home-and-garden enthusiasts can join a cookie baking event on November 4 at the Loxbaum youth center (ages 6-13) with a small 50 cent fee.
