Thrilled Event Organizers: Over 5,000 People Attend Outdoor Concert in the Park

In the heart of Hamburg, the Harburg Marketing e.V., Knust Hamburg, Stellwerk Hamburg, and Marias Ballroom collaborated to organise a memorable event: Summer in the Park. This six-day festival, held from the 23rd to the 28th of July, showcased one of the city's most beautiful destinations in a festive setting.

The event was a melting pot of music, art, holiday programs, theatre, dance, and happy faces. On Saturday, the motto was "Dancing in the Park", as the open-air stage was transformed into an open-air disco. The following day, the legendary blues musician Abi Wallenstein, affectionately known as the "Father of the Hamburg Blues Scene", took centre stage.

Abi Wallenstein, an active figure in the Hamburg music scene, often performs at notable venues such as Fabrik in Hamburg. He has opened for prominent blues artists like Keb Mo and regularly performs with other musicians such as Martin Röttger and Matthias Schlechter. His set at Summer in the Park was no exception, as he performed with three musicians during his performance, drawing over 400 visitors.

Summer in the Park aimed to strengthen diversity and community within the area, and it certainly achieved that goal. Visitors came from various locations, including Harburg and the surrounding area of Hamburg. The seventh edition of Summer in the Park attracted around 5000 visitors, who braved the changeable summer weather to enjoy the event.

Antonia Marmon, Managing Director of Harburg Marketing, expressed her appreciation to the event's sponsors, partners, employees, and service providers. She also extended her gratitude to the visitors for attending Summer in the Park. In a show of anticipation for the future, Marmon expressed her excitement for Summer in the Park 2025.

The Miskatonic Theater's "Theater im Park" was also integrated into the Summer in the Park event, providing an additional layer of entertainment for the attendees. Overall, Summer in the Park was a resounding success, bringing together the community of Hamburg for a weekend of music, art, and camaraderie.

The Miskatonic Theater added a unique element to the event with their "Theater im Park", offering a different form of entertainment. Home-and-garden enthusiasts may have appreciated the beautiful destination showcased during the festive setting of Summer in the Park.
