The 13th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum prepares to showcase prominent figures in the industry and can't-miss events

The 13th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum (BPF) is set to take place at the National Gallery of Art in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 7-10 October, 2025. This four-day event, open to the general public and free of charge with pre-registration required, promises an exciting lineup of presentations, seminars, pitching sessions, and screenings.

On the first day, 7th October, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer will lead a masterclass titled "Mastering the Pitch: Finding the Core of Your Project." The following day, Ewa Bojanowska will present "Your Starter Kit for Audience Design: Tools You Can Start Using Tomorrow."

On 9th October, twelve selected short film projects from the participating countries will have their chance to shine during the pitching sessions. The day will also feature a presentation titled "Get to Know the Key Players in the European Short Film Industry: Markets and Forums," showcasing representatives from key short film markets and forums.

The European Short Film Industry Events Summit will make its debut on 10th October, bringing together representatives from European short film industry events, markets, and forums. This day will also see presentations such as "Vilnius - Location For Your Future Project" by Jūratė Pazikaitė, "International Co-production in Short Films: Dos and Don'ts," and "Hungary as a Co-Production Partner: What You Need to Know."

Creative Europe MEDIA: Opportunities for Short Film Community will be presented by Austėja Milvydaitė on the final day, 10th October. The day will conclude with a seminar called "International Co-production in Short Films: Dos and Don'ts."

Two new initiatives will be launched and integrated with the Baltic Pitching Forum in 2025. The event will also include a screening of Hungarian shorts titled "Fresh Cuts - A Selection of Hungarian Shorts," and a presentation of three successful BPF alumni - Anna Hints, Kristijonas Dirsė, and Jani Lehto in "Journey After BPF: Alumni in Focus."

The Radiator IP Sales Distribution Award, The UP Records Sound Post-Production Award, and the Riga IFF Award will be given to selected projects. Additionally, two short film projects from the Baltic States will receive participant rights to the European Short Film Co-production Forum Euro Connection and the ShorTO Film Market and its Pitching Session 'You Only Pitch Twice.'

The Baltic Producers' Jury will select one short film project and award it with the Baltic Producers MEDIA Award, a 1000 EUR cash prize. The film producers involved in the 13th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum 2025 include Kirsi Rantala, Lauri Randla, Anu Mantyla, and Diana Elbaum.

The BPF Panel will consist of representatives from various European short film markets and forums, including Elena Ciofalo, Catherine Colas, Inja Korać, Valentin Leblanc, Sydney Neter, Julie Rousson, Ben Vandendaele, Millán Vázquez, and Sari Volanen.
