The Bühl Sustainability Days are back for their fourth edition, running from September 20 to October 9. This year's event, in collaboration with Volksbank Bühl, promises a host of engaging activities and exhibitions.
Kicking off the Sustainability Days on September 20, the Bühl Farmers' Market will open its doors for the 26th time. Alexandra Grasmik, the former Zwetschgenkönigin, and her partner will also have a wine and fruit stand at the market for the first time.
Clubs from Bühl and the region that are active in East Africa will have stands after the Multivisionshow, which will take place on September 26 at 7 pm in the Friedrichsbau. The Multivisionshow will feature photojournalists Jutta Ulmer and Michael Wolfsteiner, who will present an exhibition on East Africa. Admission for the Multivisionshow is six euros, for students and schoolchildren it is three euros.
On September 23, a lecture on "Photovoltaics" will be given by the Energy Agency Mittelbaden's energy advisor Kevin Schad.
The sustainability market at Volksbank Bühl, initially scheduled for October 11, has been cancelled at short notice. However, the Warentausch Day of Volksbank Bühl will take place on Saturday, September 27, from 10 am to 3 pm. During the Warentausch Day, functional items can be brought and useful things can be taken away.
An interactive exhibition by AOK Baden-Württemberg on climate-friendly nutrition, microplastics, durability, and more will take place on October 7 at the New Market Citizens' House, following the exhibition. In parallel with the Bühl Farmers' Market, the Treffpunkt Weltladen Bühl association is organizing a Fair Breakfast.
A bicycle tour through Eisental will take place on September 26, and the vegetarian cooking course during the sustainability days is fully booked.
The Bühl Sustainability Days aim to raise awareness about sustainability and promote local businesses and initiatives. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
