Studio established by local resident of Vocresenskaya Municipal District, aided by social agreement
In the heart of the Voskresensk municipal district, a new business has sprung up, thanks to the determination and hard work of local resident Svetlana Filatova.
Svetlana, who had been pondering the idea of a tailoring business for a long time, finally took the plunge in April 2025 and opened her own clothing alteration shop. With a suitable rental space found, she was ready to start her venture.
In May, Svetlana received a significant boost when she was granted 350,000 rubles to help kickstart her business. The money not only covered two months of rent but also enabled her to purchase various equipment and decorate the shop interior.
Svetlana's business caters to a diverse clientele, with less than 50 contracts being for personal subsidiary farming. She is optimistic about the future and plans to expand her customer base by giving more advertising. To keep up with the growing demands, she also intends to hire an assistant.
The financial support Svetlana received is part of a larger government initiative called the "Family" national project, which aims to improve living conditions, healthcare, and financial assistance for families, particularly those with many children. The project has allocated over 1.1 billion rubles from federal and regional budgets for these purposes.
While the "Family" project does not directly support entrepreneurship through social contracts, it does promote individual socio-economic development programs. These programs provide support during critical periods like parental leave, potentially fostering entrepreneurship as part of socio-economic resilience.
Svetlana's success story serves as an inspiration for others in the community, demonstrating that with determination and the right support, anyone can turn their dreams into reality.
Svetlana's new business, centered around clothing alterations, expanded its scope in May, venturing into fashion-and-beauty with the help of a 350,000 ruble grant. In the near future, she plans to bring home-and-garden elements into her shop's lifestyle aesthetic as she strives to broaden her customer base.
