St. Vincent de Paul of Northern Kentucky initiates a Christmas-themed sales event in July, offering various retail promotions throughout the month.

St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky (SVdP NKY) has launched its annual Christmas in July campaign, a month-long event that combines shopping savings with charitable giving. Running from July 1 to July 31, 2025, the campaign aims to bring joy to local families in need while offering customers a chance to shop and save during the summer months.

All four SVdP NKY thrift store locations participate in this event, offering a variety of promotions and savings throughout the month. On Thursday, July 25, there is a one-day-only storewide sale of 25% off at all locations. Customers can also round up their purchase totals to support charitable programs like Vincent’s Angels and Adopt-a-Family.

Shoppers can make a significant impact by donating new, unwrapped toys valued at $10 or more. For each qualifying donation, they will receive 100 customer loyalty points. This year, SVdP NKY is partnering with Covington-based Fidelity Investments for a company-wide toy drive to support Vincent’s Angels. Fidelity is committed to the well-being of the community and is dedicated to helping provide access and opportunity to under-resourced communities.

The Christmas in July campaign includes several charitable programs. Vincent’s Angels provides Christmas gifts to local children in need, while Adopt-a-Family supports families during the holiday season by providing gifts. Last year, SVdP NKY provided Christmas gifts to over 700 children, thanks in part to the toy drive. Customers can also purchase new toys online through the Vincent’s Angels Wish List on the SVdP NKY Facebook page.

Karen Zengel, executive director of SVdP NKY, stated that the Christmas in July program offers a fun way to make a real impact. "By shopping and donating during our Christmas in July campaign, you're helping to bring joy to local families in need," she said. "It's a great opportunity to give back while taking advantage of some fantastic shopping deals."

In addition to the in-store promotions, SVdP NKY will also be engaging on social media. Regular social media posts will highlight specific toy requests, such as sports balls and games, to encourage donations for Vincent’s Angels.

Join SVdP NKY this July in spreading holiday cheer to those in need while enjoying some summer shopping savings. For more information, visit your local SVdP NKY thrift store or follow them on Facebook.
