Spooktacular SUP Witches Paddle Returns to Sleepy Hollow This Fall
Get ready for a spooktacular event on the Hudson River this fall! The annual SUP Witches Paddle is set to take place in Sleepy Hollow's Kingsland Point Park on Sunday, October 12, from 12-4 PM. Organized by Rivertowns SUP & Yoga, this unique festival combines paddleboarding with Halloween fun, as participants dress up as witches and take to the water.
Before the paddleboarding begins, enjoy live music, craft cocktails, local vendors, and food. The event is open to all levels of paddleboarders, but participants must have previous experience and know how to swim. Safety is a priority, so everyone must wear a personal flotation device (PFD) and use a leash. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online or at the door. If you have your own board, the ticket price is the same, but if you need to rent one, prices may vary. The event is typically organized by local outdoor or watersport organizations in the Hudson Valley, with Riverkeeper and Hudson River Riders often involved. For the latest information on the 2025 event, check the official websites of Riverkeeper and local SUP shops, as well as social media platforms and tourist information sources.
Mark your calendars for the SUP Witches Paddle on October 12! It's a fantastic way to celebrate the fall season, enjoy the Hudson River, and have a spooktacular time with friends and family. Don't forget to brush up on your paddleboarding skills and safety measures before the event. We can't wait to see you there!
