America's Flying Ace - American Airlines

American Airlines is gearing up to offer daily direct flights between Miami and Rome Fiumicino from June 5th, with departures from Miami at 7.45pm and arrivals at Rome the next day at 11.50am. Series of flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to Venice Marco Polo will also commence from June 5th, leaving Dallas-Fort Worth at 5.25pm and landing in Venice the next day at 10.35am.

Neos, the romantic Italian maverick

In a brilliant move, private Italian airline Neos is launching a new direct route linking New York JFK to Bari International Airport from June 3rd to October 15th. This unique route showcases the beauty of Puglia's capital and will captivate travelers with flights departing from JFK every Tuesday at 5pm and arriving in Bari at 7.40am the following day.

EasyJet swoops in

British budget airline EasyJet is joining the fray with new direct flights between Bristol and Palermo from June 26th, boasting twice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays. EasyJet is also offering flights to Lisbon, Portugal, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from June 3rd and June 23rd respectively. Moreover, the airline has planned daily flights between Milan Malpensa and Biarritz from June 23rd. Two days later, EasyJet will start direct flights between Milan Malpensa and Thessaloniki, Greece, operating twice-weekly flights (Wednesdays and Sundays).

Air Transat takes off

Canadian carrier Air Transat is strengthening its presence in Italy this summer by offering daily flights connecting Rome Fiumicino to Toronto and Montreal from June 9th and June 15th respectively. Flights on the Venice-Toronto and Venice-Montreal routes will also run twice-weekly from June 10th and June 13th respectively.

Spanish footprint - Vueling, WizzAir, Volotea, and Ryanair

  • Ryanair will link Trieste to Stockholm Arlanda on Wednesdays starting July 2nd.
