River Examination to Begin in Omsk Prior to Construction

Title: Zamaraikha River Environmental Assessment and Waterfront Development Plan

Quickly, the upcoming examination of a water body on the Left Bank of Omsk, more specifically the Zamaraikha River, is slated to kick off. As shared by the Ministry, developers "Bruksinka," who are constructing the "Quartals Dravarta" housing complex on Sharonova Street in Omsk, are selecting contractors to evaluate water depth, water quality, flora, and the landscape of the Zamaraikha River, and also to clarify the characteristics of the river's shoreline.

The water body and shoreline will undergo analysis using a comprehensive set of parameters to choose the best solution for the river's revitalization and creating a harmonious waterfront project.

"The researchers will perform a chemical analysis of sediment layers," explained the technical director of Bruksinka in Omsk, Yevgeniy Golvik. "They'll determine levels of cadmium, arsenic, nickel, copper, zinc. The concentration of petroleum products, ammonium ions NH4, nitrate ions NO3, phosphate ions PO4, and others will also be measured for compliance with standards."

As part of the investigation, they will also clarify the depth markers, terrestrial levels, shorelines, sections of aquatic territory, and will determine how rainwater and meltwater enters the river. The condition of the riverbank vegetation will also be assessed.

The riverbank will be revitalized, and nearby, the developer plans to construct the largest school in the region with 1,550 student spaces. A sports field will be located on the bank of the Zamaraikha River in the vicinity of the 1st Rybachey Street. Additionally, a pedestrian area in the Dravarta Park will extend close to the water.

Surveys of the river are scheduled for this year, with the waterfront development project planned for the following year.

Earlier "SuperOmsk" reported on the planned Dravarta Park.
