Red Hat Names New Leaders for Asia Pacific and North America
Red Hat has announced two key leadership changes in its Asia Pacific and North American operations. Marjet Andriesse takes over as vice president and general manager of Asia Pacific, while Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen moves to lead Red Hat's commercial business in North America. Both appointments are effective immediately and report to Larry Stack, Red Hat's executive vice president of Global Sales and Services.
Andriesse, who joined Red Hat in 2020, brings a strong track record of success in global and regional sales roles. She will now lead initiatives to enable customer success with open hybrid cloud technology in the Asia-Pacific region. Under her leadership, Red Hat aims to further strengthen its position as the open hybrid cloud technology leader in the region.
Van Leeuwen, who has been with Red Hat since 2004, has played a crucial role in establishing and growing the company's operations in various regions. He has successfully expanded Red Hat's customer base in the Asia Pacific region, making it a significant market for the company. In his new role, van Leeuwen will oversee Red Hat's sales, consulting, and channel activities in North America. He expressed excitement about his new challenge and acknowledged the growth of the Asia Pacific business during his tenure.
Both appointments reflect Red Hat's commitment to driving growth and customer success in key markets. Larry Stack, Red Hat's executive vice president of Global Sales and Services, praised both van Leeuwen and Andriesse for their leadership and strategic thinking, highlighting the company's confidence in their abilities to drive success in their new roles.
