The Lost and Found Office of the City of Augsburg is here to help you with lost items. Whether you've misplaced your belongings in a citizen's office, the police, on public transport, or directly out in the city, there's a good chance they've ended up at the Lost and Found Office.
You can hand in your lost items at various locations across the city, including the Lost and Found Office itself, citizen's offices, the police, and public transport services. If you find an item, you can also bring it to one of these locations.
The Lost and Found Office maintains a record of all lost and found items. You can view these items online, but please note that cash, gift cards, wallets, documents, small finds valued under 10 €, bicycles, and items with addresses are not published online for privacy and security reasons.
If you're looking for a specific item, you can submit a loss report online for items not published online. The Lost and Found Office will contact you upon receipt of the loss report.
When picking up mobile devices or tablets, please bring the 15-digit IMEI number (serial number) as proof of ownership. For keys, please bring a spare key to compare the key number or key pattern.
