The Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park has announced an enticing lineup of events for the month of June, catering to families, individuals, and nature enthusiasts alike. The month kicks off with a free peak tour starting at the National Park Gate Erbeskopf on May 30. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the park's breathtaking landscapes and learn about its rich biodiversity.
On June 1, visitors can embark on a Discovery Tour around Hermeskeil, priced at 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults. For those with a taste for adventure, a Wine Hike on the "Lecker Pfaedchen" in Dhronecken is also offered, with optional wine tasting for 25 Euro or an additional culinary offering for 48 Euro.
For those interested in herbs, a Culinary Herb Hike in Osburg, including a "Wild Kitchen" tasting, is scheduled for June 29, costing 15 Euro. A Herb Walk in Saarburg, ideal for families, with a herb snack at the end, is planned for June 28. The cost is 7 Euro for children and 12 Euro for adults.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, a Scythe Course with Practice Exercises in Dhronecken is scheduled for May 31, costing 85 Euro per person. Two Herb Workshops on the Lime Tree, Healing Plant 2025, are offered on June 20 in Otzenhausen and June 27 in Gisingen, each costing 15 Euro.
The Jubilee Weekend "10 Years National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald" takes place from June 7 to 9. Further details about this celebration will be announced soon.
