Mysterious adventure for chronometry enthusiasts: Harburger Museum presents holiday workshop
The summer holidays have begun, and the Archaeological Museum in Harburg has some exciting news for grandparents and grandchildren! The popular programme, "Grandparents & Grandchildren on a Time Travel," is making a comeback. This programme, separate from the archaeological adventures for children staying at home, invites families to embark on a journey through history together.
The programme takes place from 2 pm to 3:30 pm each day, from August 7th, 14th, and 28th, 2024. Each day, the event focuses on a different historical period: Stone Age hunters (Tuesday), bronze smiths (Wednesday), and ancient Romans (Thursday).
For children aged 6 and above, the museum is also offering a separate programme during the summer holidays. However, the specific details for this programme are not yet available on the museum's website, amh.de. It is recommended to check the official website or contact the museum directly for precise details on children and grandparent-friendly activities during the summer holidays at the Archaeological Museum in Harburg.
Registration for both programmes can be done by calling 040 42871-2497. Each day of the event runs from 10 am to 2 pm, and the cost is 6 euros per day.
Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a fun and educational activity to do with your grandchildren, the Archaeological Museum in Harburg has something for everyone this summer. So mark your calendars and get ready to travel through time with your loved ones!
