Almaty Metro Offers Free Rides for Kids on International Children's Day
Breaking News: Kids under 14 can enjoy a free ride on Almaty Metro this June 1st, as announced by the Almaty Metro Public Corporation. This special day celebrates children worldwide.
"This generous offer is made to support families and make the day memorable for the little ones," said the Corporation.
Free rides will run all day, from sunrise to sunset.
Initially, reports indicated the revamping of turnstiles in Almaty Metro. Soon, passengers will have a hassle-free experience, paying with bank cards or smartphones equipped with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, on the reader. Formerly, card payments were possible only via the cashier or a special turnstile. Now, all stations' turnstiles will feature contactless payment systems, speeding up entry and smoothing out trips.
Almaty Natives: Quite thoughtful, but isn't 14 a bit young? In our country, people are considered minors until they reach 18. So, why not extend this benefit to teenagers too?
Commentators: Almaty Natives seem a bit greedy. Why limit free metro rides for just one day?
Kind-Hearted Citizen: Make this free ride a regular thing! After all, it's the children who are our future.
School Matters: We educate children up to the age of 14, so this offer seems appropriately timed.
Kazakh Perspective: The free ride is a kind gesture towards our future generations, and it's high time we started appreciating that.
Local Expert: They might claim a lack of funds, causing delays in the construction of new stations...
Observant Citizen: I've never used the metro. Maybe it's high time I did!
Veteran's Day is May 9th, Children's Day is June 1st, and so on. Our resources could be used more evenly for everyone, not just for specific occasions.
Demanding Almaty Native: Why not make free metro rides for kids a regular occurrence instead of just a one-day thing? It seems a bit stingy!

"The kind-hearted citizen suggests extending the free metro rides for kids to a regular occurrence, believing it's a significant investment in the future of the community, aligning with the home-and-garden segment of family-dynamics and impacting the relationships within the family."
"School matters point out that the free ride on Children's Day is timely as their involvement with the education system goes up to the age of 14, and the offer aligns with their lifestyle, focusing on creating a nurturing environment for children."
