Marie Mouroum's action-packed journey started at nine when her mom enrolled her in a karate class for self-defense. Her love for martial arts took off, leading her to compete internationally and snag the Junior World Championship title in Pencak Silat at 15. Bye-bye, dojo; hello, Hollywood! She kicked off her film career as an extra before graduating to stuntwoman duties. In 2012, she served as Halle Berry's double in "Cloud Atlas," and her résumé has since expanded to include iconic works like "The Hunger Games," "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," and "No Time to Die." Nowadays, she also earns accolades for her acting chops, with roles in "Black Panther," "Avengers: Infinity War," and "Avengers: Endgame." Most recently, she starred in Netflix's "60 Minutes," taking center stage for the first time alongside Emilio Sakraya.

"It's an honor to learn professional dancing at a prestigious show like 'Let's Dance.' I've always admired dancers and secretly wished I could give it a spin myself. I'm excited for the challenge, to entertain spectators, and not to disappoint my coach," says Mouroum.
