Member States' food labeling laws to be aligned through proposed directive by the Commission.
The city of Arnsberg is inviting interested citizens to participate in a climate change walk on September 17th, titled "Heat" and "Heavy Rain". The event, which will start at 5:30 PM, will take place at the NASS leisure pool, Am Solepark 15 in 59759 Arnsberg.
This climate change walk, organised in collaboration with the Consumer Center NRW, is expected to last between one and a half to two hours. During the walk, participants can discover potential solutions for adapting their own homes or properties to climate change.
Carsten Peters, energy advisor at the Arnsberg consulting office, and Max Friedrich, climate adaptation manager at the City of Arnsberg's sustainable development department, will lead the walk. They will showcase examples of measures to adapt homes to climate change and demonstrate what homeowners and the municipality can do to protect buildings and people from the consequences of climate change.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to get involved in climate change adaptation. For questions about the event, contact Jan Maximilian Friedrich, the climate adaptation manager of the City of Arnsberg, at j.friedrich@our website or by phone at 02932 201 1851.
No prior registration is required for the climate change walk, so citizens are welcome to join and contribute to the discussion on climate change adaptation in Arnsberg.
