Majority of Germans Find Eating in Bed Unacceptable, Survey Finds
A recent YouGov survey has revealed the bedtime dining habits of Germans. The poll, conducted on September 22, 20XX, found that a majority of people in Germany, 54%, find eating in bed completely or rather unacceptable.
The survey also highlighted the demographic differences in attitudes towards bedtime snacking. People under 35 and women were found to be less strict about eating in bed, with only 1% of the population, according to the survey, being frequent bedtime diners.
In contrast, 51% of respondents never eat in bed, indicating a strong preference for separate dining spaces. Interestingly, 40% of people in Germany consider snacking in bed acceptable, suggesting a more relaxed attitude towards the practice among a significant portion of the population.
The survey also noted that younger people tend to eat in bed more frequently than older people, with only 7% of respondents reporting frequent or very frequent bedtime eating habits.
The YouGov survey provides insights into the varied attitudes towards eating in bed among people in Germany. While a majority finds the practice unacceptable, a significant minority finds it acceptable, with younger people and women being more likely to engage in bedtime snacking.
