New Panerai Submersible Marina Militare Models Embrace Heritage and Modernity

Panerai has unveiled two new models as part of the Submersible Marina Militare range, paying homage to the brand's rich history with the Italian Navy. The new models, available in both steel and Carbotech case materials, are designed for professional divers and embody ruggedness, legibility, and military-grade reliability.

Steel Models: Classic Robustness

The steel models, such as the PAM01697, maintain Panerai's classic robustness with a bold, utilitarian aesthetic. They feature the "Marina Militare" signature at the 6 o’clock position and a brushed 44mm case. A green canvas strap comes with the steel model, with a black rubber option also available. The P.900 calibre movement in the steel model offers an impressive three-day power reserve.

Carbotech Models: Lightweight Durability and Cutting-Edge Design

The Carbotech models, like the PAM01698, are made from an innovative composite material, offering enhanced lightness and improved resistance to corrosion. This modern and technical watch is visually distinctive due to its textured black appearance. The use of Carbotech aligns with Panerai's ongoing efforts to combine heritage with advanced materials suited for extreme environments.

A Balance Between Tradition and Innovation

Both models share the Submersible Marina Militare lineage and specifications suited for professional diving but differ primarily in materials and resulting aesthetics. The steel models offer classic robustness, while the Carbotech models provide lightweight durability with a cutting-edge design.

The new Panerai Submersible Marina Militare models are not the cheapest in the brand's catalogue, but they are reasonable compared to the cost of the experience model, which recently launched, offering buyers a chance to spend three days with the Italian armed forces.

Images of the new Panerai models are available from Panerai, with the steel model priced approximately £10,300 and the Carbotech model approximately £16,800. The new Panerai Submersible Marina Militare range is designed to celebrate the brand's history with the Italian military.

These new Panerai Submersible Marina Militare models, available in both steel and Carbotech case materials, not only embrace Panerai's heritage with the Italian Navy but also cater to a contemporary home-and-garden, complementing one's lifestyle with their robust and technologically advanced design. The Carbotech models, like the PAM01698, with their lightweight durability and cutting-edge design, are particularly suitable for individuals seeking a modern twist in their home-and-garden, reflecting the merging of tradition and innovation.
