Introducing Revamped Membership Tiers!
In a recent development, our platform has unveiled a new membership structure designed to offer a more personalised and rewarding experience for its members. This tiered membership management system allows for the creation and management of multiple access levels, each with unique benefits and content gating based on tier.
Existing members need not worry about the changes, as their current level of access or benefits will correspond to their assigned tier under the new system. The platform is committed to ensuring a smooth transition between tiers and ongoing monitoring to ensure that each tier delivers its expected value.
The new structure is aimed at retaining existing members by helping them maximise value at their existing level while highlighting the benefits of higher tiers. For those who wish to upgrade, an $20 upgrade fee will apply for Individual Plus members wishing to convert to the Duo level.
Members continue to enjoy several perks, such as a 10% discount in the platform shop, a 10% discount on birthday party bookings, free parking in designated lots, member rates on select education programs and ticketed events, free admission to First Friday Nights, and a discount of $8 off up to four guest tickets per visit.
Additionally, the platform offers an Explorer Pass program for DAF donors, which provides non-tangible benefits equivalent to regular membership levels. Members-only hours and complimentary breakfast every couple of months, known as Member Morning, continue to be a benefit.
The new membership structure also allows families to choose memberships that better fit their family size and shape. Starting from July 30, all brand-new memberships will be under the new structure. All families can rest assured that currently active memberships will not be affected, and all memberships active under the previous system will be automatically transferred to the new structure starting in October 2026.
Moreover, the platform supports a charitable governance structure that allows donors to open separate Giving Funds, enabling Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) to be used flexibly for supporting membership acquisition efforts. This approach allows for flexible, tax-efficient giving and administrative ease, supporting the funding of memberships or community engagement initiatives.
With secure integrations for diverse payment methods and recurring billing, this new structure supports smooth monetization and payment flexibility, ensuring our members have a seamless experience while enjoying the benefits of their membership.
Under the revised membership structure, high-tier membership levels offer exclusive discounts on lifestyle products, such as home-and-garden and shopping items. For instance, members at the Duo level can expect a 15% discount on lifestyle products, adding to their existing benefits.
The new structure also introduces unique benefits for families, offering tailored membership options based on family size and lifestyle preferences. These family-oriented benefits will encompass areas such as home-and-garden projects and shopping experiences.
