Mother's Day in Kazakhstan is a festive occasion that occurs on the third Sunday of September, as per Almaty.tv, referencing Tengrinews.kz.

This holiday was officially instituted back in 2012 by the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. In his proposal, he recognized women as the guardians of the family hearth, making Mother's Day a heartfelt celebration to honor our moms.

In an effort to preserve and promote family values, the Ministry of Culture and Sports will spearhead a flash mob called "For Mother."

Various theaters across the country will also be presenting spectacular shows. The Kazakh State Academic Drama Theatre named after Ауизов will stage Sherhan Murtaza's "Ay and Aisha." Meanwhile, the State Republican Academic Uighur Musical Comedy Theatre named after Кужамьяров will showcase Ilgiz Zayniev's contemporary drama "Child," as well as Durniam Mashurova's historical drama "Mother's Will."

For the visually impaired, the Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired has planned an online event called "Mother - the light of life."

If you're a fan of art, visit the State Museum of Arts named after Кастеев, which will unveil a virtual gallery called "The Female Image in Works of Visual Art."

For some enchanting tunes, don't miss out on the Kazakh State Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Курмангазы, as they present an online cycle of kuy "Aman bol shegem, aman bol."

To make this Mother's Day truly extraordinary, look out for performances from the prestigious "Astana Opera," the GATOB named after Абая, with a Gala-opera and a Parade of Baritones.
