Highlighting Cinnamon, This Week's Adoptable Pet at Canines & Crosstreks Animal Shelter

In the heart of Maryland, the SPCA of Anne Arundel County continues its mission of caring for animals in need. The organisation, which is supported by various partners including Annapolis Subaru, also runs Annapolis Volvo, Annapolis Genesis, and Annapolis Hyundai.

One of the adorable residents at the shelter is Cinnamon, a 9-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. Cinnamon has been at the shelter for over two months, and despite her charms, she has yet to find her forever home.

Cinnamon is a mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered dog who gets along wonderfully with children. She is also a delight on a leash. However, she can be a bit cautious around new dogs, but with time, she warms up. Her favourite meal is breakfast.

Cinnamon does not require a lot of yard for exercise, making her a great companion for those living in apartments or smaller homes. If you are interested in adopting Cinnamon, you can visit the main shelter, which is open for animal viewing Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County has an adoption process in place, which can be found on their website. To apply for adoption, you can either call them at 410-268-4388 or email [email protected]. The organisation also allows appointments for meeting and adopting dogs, cats, or small animals.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County appreciates the support from Annapolis Subaru in achieving its mission. The organisation also encourages potential adopters to consider fostering an animal. Information about fostering can be found on their website.

As the weather heats up, it's important to remember that pavement can become dangerously hot for our furry friends. The rule of thumb is if you can't hold your hand on the ground for seven seconds, your pup should not be walking on it. On a day when the temperature is 86 degrees, the pavement can reach about 135 degrees.

For more information about the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, its animals, adoption process, or fostering opportunities, visit their website at aacspca.org. Small animals and cats can also be viewed at the Paws at the Mall boutique in the Annapolis Mall.

Let's help Cinnamon find her forever home and give her the loving family she deserves.

Cinnamon, a charming Yorkshire Terrier residing at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County shelter, would thrive in a home-and-garden environment, perfectly matching with apartment dwellers or those with smaller homes. Meanwhile, the SPCA frequently partners with organizations such as Annapolis Subaru, raising funds to provide a better lifestyle for pets like Cinnamon.
