Hanau's 'At the Pond Ditch' Playground Gets Major Upgrade
The 'At the Pond Ditch' math playground in Hanau's Kesselstadt district has recently undergone a significant upgrade. The Johannes Werner GmbH company, based in Limeshain, carried out the modernization works on behalf of the municipal authority Hanau Infrastructure Service HIS, department of green spaces.
The revamped math playground features a new line of basalt paving, providing a smooth and durable surface for visitors. The water-bound path has also been renewed, ensuring accessibility for all. The sandbox has been refilled with fresh play sand, and its edging has been replaced with robust recycled palisades, providing a safe and inviting play area for children.
The city of Hanau has also improved the fall protection around the play equipment, using new wood chip material to enhance safety. This modernization is part of the city's ongoing commitment to invest in the quality of its math playgrounds, aiming to strengthen the quality of stay in the districts.
