Guiding your residence towards a successful trajectory
The Consumer Center North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) has launched a statewide action titled "Your Home - On Course for the Future with Energy", running from September 22 to October 5, 2025. This initiative aims to provide cost-effective and easily implementable measures for energy savings, focusing on consulting services and solutions that help consumers prepare their homes for future challenges.
The action includes approximately 150 events across North Rhine-Westphalia, with the launch taking place in Düsseldorf in the presence of Silke Krebs, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
For those unable to attend the local events, a wealth of online resources is available. Daily online lectures cover topics such as heating replacement, district heating, photovoltaic systems, and building insulation. In addition, detailed information and learning units on energy-saving and renovation measures, heating, and photovoltaic topics are available online. A digital self-study course on saving energy in the apartment is aimed at tenants.

The consulting services cover topics such as energy-saving in daily life, heating replacement, renewable energies, efficient heating and ventilation, insulation measures, and funding for energy modernization. The advice provided is tailored to individual living situations and budgets.
Silke Krebs, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, stated that the action contributes to the environment and climate, improves the quality of life for individuals, and helps reduce energy consumption and lower costs.
The action is aimed at homeowners and tenants, providing information on topics such as heat pumps, photovoltaics, insulation, plug-in solar devices, and more. The use of all image material is free, but it must include a mention of the Consumer Center NRW.
In addition to the action, Consumer Center NRW is offering additional online information to complement the initiative. This includes knowledge texts on various energy-saving and renovation measures, as well as information stands and energy advice days.
