The much-loved Zoo Tours on Four Wheels, known as Zoomobiles, will be back at the Green Zoo Wuppertal starting from July. Operated by Zoo-Service Wuppertal GmbH of Zoo-Verein Wuppertal e.V., these exciting tours offer a unique way to explore the zoo.
Zoomobiles will run depending on weather conditions until approximately mid-October. Each tour can accommodate up to seven passengers, making it a perfect family outing or a fun day out with friends.
The cost for a private Zoomobile ride, catering to a maximum of seven seats, is 120,- Euro plus the zoo entrance fee. For those preferring a solo or shared experience, an individual seat on a Zoomobile costs 20,- Euro plus the zoo entrance fee.
These tours are not just a ride; they are an educational journey. The Zoomobiles are driven by experienced zoo guides who provide fascinating explanations about the animals and facilities along the tour.
For those planning a visit, it's important to note that prior registration for Zoomobile rides is required. Registrations can be made via email at [email protected], by phone at 0202/563-3656 or 563-3662.
In July, public Zoomobile rides will occur every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 PM. However, no rides are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays during this month. Private Zoomobile rides can take place within the zoo's opening hours, and bookings for individual dates are possible.
In addition to the regular schedule, an extra Zoomobile ride is available on Thursday, June 27th, with seats still available. Moreover, additional public Zoomobile rides are scheduled beyond July. For more information and dates, visit the zoo's website under "Events" and "Zoo Experience".
Please note that private Zoomobile rides cannot take place on Sundays or public holidays. The following dates in July have Zoomobile rides scheduled: July 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th.
