German Carnival Association honors the most captivating float winner

The 200th anniversary of Düsseldorf Carnival was celebrated in style, with a special jubilee session that recognised the creative efforts and achievements of various carnival clubs. The award ceremony took place at the local En de Canon on Zollstraße 7, where the winning medals were unveiled, each one a testament to the creative spirit of the city.
In the children's medal category, the Tonnengarde Niederkassel and the city's prince's guard placed first and second respectively, receiving 444 euros and 333 euros respectively. The Kaiserswerther KG and the children's guard of the Büderischer Heinzelmännchen came in fourth and sixth, earning 111 euros and 111 euros respectively. The children's medal of the city won the fifth place.
The society medals category was a fiercely contested one. The Närrischen Lohauser and the Düsseldorf Narren secured third and second places, receiving 888 euros and 999 euros respectively. The winner, Rather Aape, took home the first place and a check for 1111 euros. Places 4 to 6 went to the Büderischer Heinzelmännchen, KakaJu, and Kaiserswerther KG.
The prince couple medal category saw Sellerieprinz David I. and the Angermunder prince couple Christoph and Diana of the 11 Pille coming in second and third respectively. The winning couple was Heerdte KV with Peter V.
The jury, consisting of Tessa, Karl-Heinz Schmake, Michael Laumen, and Frank Dölle, evaluated the submitted medals in various categories. The winning medals were initially covered with a bright red cloth, adding to the anticipation of the ceremony.
The support association was able to reward the clubs for their medals thanks to sponsors such as the city savings bank. The prizes were endowed with handsome checks, with the largest prize of 1111 euros going to Rather Aape in the society medals category.
