Gather round, folks! The Organic Market in Bremen-Findorff is excitedly inviting you to join them for a delicious feast on the 29th of September!
The Bio-Market Festival, an event focused on ecological agriculture and sustainable nutrition, will take place next Sunday, September 29th, at the Findorff market in Neukirchstraße, Bremen. This festival, organised by the EU Organic Award-winning best bio-city in Europe, promises a day filled with activities, products, and delicious delicacies.
From 11 am to 5 pm, over 50 stalls will offer a variety of products, information, and mouth-watering treats such as bio-pizza, bio-pasta, and bio-kimchi. Visitors can interact with producers and long-standing regional actors, learn about the benefits of organic farming, and participate in engaging activities.
Children will have the opportunity to create their own puppets, join a vegetable hunt, and enjoy a host of other activities designed especially for them. For the adults, there's music by Kevin Rabemanisa & Band at 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm, an Olive Oil Tasting at 3:15 pm, and a stage program featuring young bands, tastings, and a live cooking event with Environment and Climate Senator Kathrin Moosdorf.
Senator Moosdorf stated that organic farming protects the environment, is good for the climate, benefits workers in the agricultural sector, and ensures healthy food. The festival aims to preserve cultural landscapes, jobs in the region, and strengthen crisis-resistant value chains.
