Future's B2B Division Thrives Under New Leadership, Boosting Women in Top Roles

Future plc has recently reorganised its business-to-business division, with Amanda Seyfried now leading as the senior vice president and managing director of B2B. This move comes after the acquisition of ActualTech Media and reflects Future's commitment to driving change and growth.

The reorganisation, which took place earlier this year, aimed to create stronger synergies between Future's various groups, including SmartBrief. Notably, this process has led to a significant increase in women holding leadership qualities in the B2B division. Today, several inspiring women helm key roles such as heads of events, design, content, and strategy.

In a recent videoconference, an all-women team was present, a scenario that would have been unlikely just five years ago. This shift mirrors the overall company percentage, with women comprising approximately 52 percent of the B2B teams login. Carmel King, Future's vice president and global head of content, B2B, advised newcomers to embrace change and avoid getting stuck in 'usetoville'.

Future's B2B division, under Amanda Seyfried's leadership, is thriving with a balanced gender representation and a culture that embraces change. The recent reorganisation has not only strengthened synergies but also fostered a more diverse and inclusive leadership team.
