Free Children's Book Theater: 'Sea Pig Days' in Münsterstraße 21 on Oct 14
The city library in Münsterstraße 21 is hosting a special event for children aged four and above on October 14, 2025. The highlight is a children's book theater performance of 'Sea Pig Days' by Cornelia Funke at 4 pm, followed by a crafting session. Admission is free, but registration is required due to limited seating.
The story revolves around Cleo, a girl who receives a sea pig named Frieda. Throughout the tale, Cleo learns to understand Frieda's perspective, teaching empathy and understanding. The event will last approximately 45 minutes, allowing ample time for the performance and the subsequent crafting activity.
If demand is high, a second showing at 5 pm has been planned to accommodate more young attendees. While the organizer's identity remains unknown, their efforts have brought this enchanting story to life on stage. Interested parties can register via email at stadtbuecherei@unser website or by calling 02306 104-2618.
Mark your calendars for October 14, 2025, at 4 pm (and potentially 5 pm) for this delightful, free event at the Stadtbüro in Münsterstraße 21. Join Cleo and Frieda on their adventure and let your little ones explore their creativity during the crafting session.
