In the heart of Urnshausen, a community event took place on April 20th, bringing together local musicians, choirs, and residents for a special cause. The Urnshausen musical evening service was held with the purpose of raising funds for the children's and youth hospice in Tambach-Dietharz.

This event, rooted in the community's desire to contribute meaningfully to the hospice's work, has become a cherished tradition in Urnshausen. The evening was filled with music and empathy, creating a powerful sound space and fostering a palpable sense of community.

The Urnshausen brass band, led by Klaus Enders, and musicians from Dermbach and Völkershausen, played a significant role in the event. A self-made "donation box" was placed in the sanctuary for attendees to donate, and approximately 500 euros were collected during the event.

The representatives of the choirs, including Karsten Schmidt, Sonja Specht, Mario Wiese, and Aaron Schnarr, were present to witness the handover of the collected funds to Marion Neumann, the house leader of the children's hospice in Tambach-Dietharz. The visit provided them with a personal impression of the important work being done at the hospice.

The community church council of Urnshausen, led by Susanne Specht, concluded the evening by providing bratwurst, adding a warm and friendly touch to the event.

The funds raised during the Urnshausen musical evening service will help families of seriously ill children and youth to take a little break during difficult times. The event serves not only as a fundraiser but also as a platform to raise public awareness about the vital services provided by the children's and youth hospice in Tambach-Dietharz.

This heartfelt act of community support is a testament to the power of music and empathy in bringing people together for a noble cause.

In the spirit of community support and empathy, the funds raised during the Urnshausen musical evening service will not only contribute to the lifestyle of families needing relief but also provide essential resources for the children's and youth hospice in Tambach-Dietharz. Furthermore, the successful home-and-garden collaboration between various local musicians, choirs, and residents has reaffirmed the strength and unity of the community.
