On the 5th of September, 2025, Neumarkt Square in Nordhorn will come alive with laughter, magic, and spectacular artistry as the Family Gala takes centre stage at the International Street Culture Festival, "Nordhorn Marvels + Laughs".

The Family Gala, organized by the Cultural Department of the city of Nordhorn, promises to be a delight for the whole family. Award-winning clown, Fraser Hooper from New Zealand, will perform his show "Funny Business", offering a perfect blend of acrobatics, clowning, and poetic circus theater.

The variety show will also feature the acrobatic trio Gravityless, comedian Lena Laughs, and musician Max Groove, ensuring a diverse and entertaining lineup. Jens Ohle, a comedian and artist from Hamburg, will be the host of the show, keeping the audience engaged throughout.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the grand finale, where the Swiss humorist, The Maag, will take the stage. Duo Mio, a circus duo consisting of Merle Freund and Martin Bogus, will also perform their unique act. Mareike Koch will showcase her trapeze and vertical silk artistry, adding a touch of elegance to the performance.

Argentine duo, manoAmano, will perform their show "NOSO3". The Family Gala is not just about performances, it's about bringing people together and fostering a sense of community.
