Prepare for Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8 as the Open House returns for its 8th edition! Explore over 150 buildings, including private residences, design spaces, and public areas that are normally closed to the public! Evergreen Fest: Two Nights of Swing, Soul, and Jazz
Join us at Parco della Tesoriera on June 7 and 8 for the Evergreen Fest, a unique atmosphere dedicated to lovers of swing and jazz from the '30s and '40s! Live concerts, social dance moments, and a selected food area are waiting for you.
On Saturday, June 7, at 9 pm, an engaging talk entitled "The Future is the Present" will take place. Later, at 9:30 pm, feast your ears with an offshoot of the Torino Soul Night featuring Samoo Jw Spallitta, mixed with Soul and Hip Hop beats.
On Sunday, June 8, at 9:30 pm, music lovers will be delighted by the performance of Distilleria Manouche, a young project from Turin inspired by the great Django Reinhardt. A food point, also for takeaway, will be open from 7 pm.
Big Mama and Pride
Unfortunately, the concert scheduled for June 8th at Evergreen has been canceled due to technical issues, but don't fret! Big Mama will be the event's godmother at the Torino Pride on Saturday, June 7th.
And speaking of Pride, it's the main event on Saturday, June 7! The parade will wind through the city's streets, passing by Corso San Martino, Via Cernaia, Via Pietro Micca, Piazza Castello, and Via Po. The arrival will be in Piazza Vittorio.
Swing Your Way to Mercato Centrale
On Sunday, June 8, get ready for a life-filled dance party at Mercato Centrale. Join us from 4 PM to 8:30 PM for an open Charleston lesson, followed by a long social dance session between Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Boogie Woogie, accompanied by a swing DJ set.
Interplay at Imbarchino: Dance, Stories, and Flavors by the Po
From May 28th to June 14th, with a final event on July 15th, the Interplay Festival offers various free activities, including contemporary dance shows, and snippets. On June 7th, you'll enjoy an outdoor performance evening at Imbarchino del Parco del Valentino, featuring the Interplay project and Free Seed - Sconfinamenti.
