Soho Mews House, the latest addition to the renowned Soho House collection, has revealed an impressive audio system designed to match its high-end interiors. The installation, led by London-based integrator Tateside, features custom-finished loudspeakers from 1 SOUND, creating a unique audio experience for guests.

In the private dining room, MiniSUB5s are positioned above the draped fabric ceilings, while in the main dining room, 1 SOUND's compact Cannon C4 coaxial loudspeakers and MiniSUB5 subwoofers are used under the banquette seating. The Piano Bar, on the other hand, boasts 1 SOUND's Cannon C6 loudspeakers and WSUB45s, providing an immersive audio experience for live performances.

The Half Moon Bar, designed to support live performances, benefits from a system designed by Tateside. It includes Tower Systems, custom-finished to match the wood walls, offering SPL and clarity for live music with a controlled dispersion pattern. The Tower Systems also feature 20 dB of rear-cancellation on the Tower column to eliminate potential noise on stage.

Tateside designed a distributed system for the Half Moon Bar, using Cannon C6s, WSUB45 wall subs, Tower LCC84, and SUB310. This setup supports multiple modes, including DJ mode and live performance mode, with automatic time alignment shifting.

DMX show lighting is tied in through Q-SYS in the Half Moon Bar, with control via an Apple iPad or simplified switching via Pragma wall panels on each floor. The audio system in the Half Moon Bar is controlled by a Q-SYS control backend.

DPA microphones were used to pick up performances in the Piano Bar, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality. A Skaarhoj motorised fader bank was installed in the Piano Bar for basic microphone control.

It's worth noting that while no detailed specifications or descriptions of the Soho Mews House audio setup are publicly available, 1 SOUND offers powerful audio equipment such as the SUB215 deep bass subwoofer featuring two 15” low-frequency drivers capable of 140 dB SPL. However, no direct reference links this or other 1 SOUND models specifically to Soho Mews House.

Given the lack of public documentation, a direct inquiry to the property managers, the audio system installer, or equipment providers involved would likely be necessary for precise information about the Soho Mews House audio system.
