Xero Shoes Launches Updated Scrambler Line for Trail Enthusiasts
Xero Shoes, the innovative footwear brand, has recently unveiled updates to their popular Scrambler series. The new line includes the Scrambler Low EV for trail running and hiking, and the Scrambler Trail Mid WP, a waterproof barefoot hiking boot.
The Scrambler Low EV boasts a lightweight, breathable design, perfect for trail running and hiking. With a zero-drop, high-splay fit, it encourages natural foot movement. The shoe's Michelin Fiberlite sole offers lightweight grip and unparalleled flexibility. The durable, abrasion-resistant mesh upper keeps debris out while allowing airflow, and a removable TrailFoam insert provides extra sole protection. The Scrambler Low EV weighs approximately 9.2 oz (260g) for men's size 9 and features 3-4 mm lugs on the Michelin rubber outsole.
In the UK, the Scrambler Low EV is available for £120, a saving of £30. It's designed for hiking, running, and exploring trails, making it an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The shoe is currently on sale for £119.99.
For those seeking a waterproof option, the Scrambler Trail Mid WP is the answer. While specific updated features for the Mid WP version were not detailed, the Scrambler series as a whole emphasises a foot-shaped toe box, zero-drop heel, and flexible soles for barefoot comfort.
