Curious exchange students seek to explore Bavaria – lend a hand in their adventures
Youth For Understanding (YFU), one of the largest organizations for youth exchange with around 70,000 participating youth worldwide, is seeking host families in Bavaria for exchange students from around the world. The exchange period is from August and September to an unspecified end date, and the students are teenagers aged 15 to 18 who want to spend an academic year in Germany, learning the language and experiencing Bavarian culture firsthand.
Steps to Apply
- Contact YFU Germany: To express your interest in hosting an exchange student, reach out to the YFU Germany office. They will guide you through the application process and provide necessary documents.
- Application Form: You will need to fill out an application form, which typically includes information about your family, home environment, and reasons for wanting to host an exchange student.
