City shuts down by midnight in Aschaffenburg
On the 26th of July, Aschaffenburg is set to transform into a vibrant hub of culture, entertainment, and shopping, promising an unforgettable summer experience. This event, part of the 37th Aschaffenburger Bachtage, is organised by the city's marketing and economic development department.
The day kicks off early with the second Roßmarkt Wine Mile, where local wineries will showcase their finest wines from 11 AM. The lively music program on the Schoental stage begins at 7:30 PM, featuring the band "Groove Control" and a mix of dance, disco, rock, and pop. For those who enjoy a good beat, Hinnerk Schichta will entertain with his dance gong act at Herstallstraße/Ecke Steingasse, and in Sandgasse, dance performances and a DJ truck will round off the evening program.
Shopping enthusiasts will be delighted to know that stores in the city center and City Galerie shopping center will be open late into the evening. Customers shopping at participating stores in Aschaffenburg's city center will receive free lottery tickets for the colorful summer lottery. For those who prefer a more leisurely shopping experience, the city center will remain open until midnight.
The Schoental stage will also host a drink and cocktail bar, and a food truck will be available for those looking to refuel. Sekt and popcorn stands will be available, with proceeds going to "Die City hilft e.V." association.
As the evening unfolds, the "Hollywood Star Lotto" game show will take place on the event area from 5 PM. The "Lebendiges und attraktives Bahnhofsquartier" association will start its annual street festival from 1 PM, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Not to be missed is Peter Dill's performance on the Genussbühne Sandgasse at 7 PM, though the musician playing for a good cause is yet to be specified. Hinnerk Schichta, on the other hand, performs a captivating dance juggling act.
