Get ready, folks! The Harburg Christmas extravaganza is almost here! Only a handful of hours remain until the gates of this brilliant yuletide market swing open. The grand finale prep work and the arranging of booths are in full swing, with new tarpaulins on the barriers offering a fresh external appearance.

Tonight at 6 PM, get ready for some pre-Christmas cheer as organizer Anne Rehberg and Dierk Trispel, the deputy head of the district office, give the green light for festive fun in front of Harburg Town Hall. If you can't wait that long, you can already get your hands on mulled wine, almonds, and gingerbread from 11 AM.

The opening at 6 PM is going to be magical with music and singing from the Catholic School Harburg and the GBS Scheßeler Kehre on stage. The evening will be hosted by Stefan Wolter, and the Ice Queen will graciously attend the opening ceremony.

From the 6th of December through the 29th, visitors can immerse themselves in sparkling lights, the scent of roasted almonds, and an array of delicious cuisines. Craft activities, handmade trinkets, fairy tales, hot beverages, and ample music ensure the Christmas market is a hit with families.

The fun continues with activities by Harburg-Marketing. A culture stage and a children's program will be featured on the market. Additionally, the Harburg Advent calendar from the 1st to the 24th of December brings charming small gifts and sweet treats to discover in the city center. Another captivating event will be the Harburg Winter Magic on the 7th of December.
