Bremen's Fietsenbörse Kicks Off: Used Bikes Galore
Bremen residents are gearing up for the city's first bicycle exchange of the season, the Fietsenbörse, set to take place on March 2nd, 2024. The event promises a wide variety of used bicycles, from Dutch bikes to vintage racing bikes, with over 500 tickets up for grabs.
The Fietsenbörse will be held on Saturdays throughout 2024, starting on March 2nd and continuing on April 20th, May 11th, June 15th, August 24th, and September 21st. Each event runs from 10 to 15 o'clock at Bürgerweide 10, behind the main station.
Bremen residents can sell their bicycles at the Fietsenbörse by bringing them between 8:30 and 11 o'clock in the morning. Sellers pay a 3 euro processing fee per bicycle and receive a fixed price minus a sales commission if the bicycle is sold. All bicycles are thoroughly inspected by the organizers to ensure quality.
The entrance fee for the Fietsenbörse is one euro. Test rides and advice from an independent specialist are available for potential buyers, making it an ideal opportunity to find a new bike or upgrade your current one.
The Fietsenbörse offers Bremen residents a chance to buy or sell used bicycles in a well-organized and inspected environment. With a variety of bicycle types available and helpful resources for buyers, the event is not to be missed by cycling enthusiasts in Bremen looking for events near me or using Eventbrite.
