The "Seahorses for All" beach parties, organised by the German Life-Saving Association (DLRG) in Ostholstein, are set to return this summer. These educational and recreational events, focused on promoting water safety and swimming skills, will take place at three different locations along the Ostholstein coast: Grömitz, Sierksdorf, and Dahme.
The beach parties will take place on three separate days: Friday, July 25th, Saturday, July 26th, and Tuesday, August 12th. Each location will host the event on its respective date.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of interactive activities designed to educate and entertain. These include water safety workshops, swimming and lifesaving techniques for children, games, and supervised swimming sessions in safe, controlled environments. Educational talks for parents about water safety and drowning prevention will also be available.
The events will transform the beaches into vibrant playgrounds for water and sun safety. Young and old can participate in activities such as bouncy castles, learning swimming essentials, puzzling through swimming rules, trying out rescue equipment, and learning first aid techniques.
As an added bonus, Nivea water balls will be distributed to the visitors at the end of the beach parties.
The events will take place between 2pm and 5pm, offering families a fun-filled afternoon by the sea. The events continue to take place at the same locations as before: Seebrücke in Grömitz, Pfingstbeek promenade in Sierksdorf, and Sportstrand spa in Dahme.
For those interested, there will be opportunities to answer challenging questions at the stations for a chance to win prizes by making a small donation to the DLRG.
