Beach currently inaccessible due to muddy conditions
In the heart of Biysk, two significant problems have been causing concern for local residents. The first issue lies on ul. Krasilnikova, where a large puddle has become a persistent problem, especially for those living near School No. 6. The puddle, which turns into mud and a swamp when it dries, is a source of rot and a foul smell.
Residents believe that gravel is needed to address this issue, with estimates suggesting that two trucks of gravel would be sufficient. However, Housing and Utilities Management has refused to provide the gravel for the road, citing that it is not federal. In a bid to prevent any 'repair,' some neighbors have resorted to filling the pothole with grass.
Meanwhile, on ul. Krasnoarmeiskaya, 247, a different issue has arisen. A large hole, caused by a malfunctioning stormwater drain, has led to a significant amount of water flowing into a swamp, causing flooding and potentially leading to high water bills for residents. The water flowing from the drain pipe makes it impossible to walk, and the puddle is so wide that it's impossible to bypass, posing a risk of slipping and falling into the mud.
Residents have made a plea to address this issue, suggesting that there might be a leak at the water utility. Despite a deputy reporting the issue, no resolution has been found yet.
In a positive development, it was announced that Ul. Mukacheva will have a stormwater drainage system built. This news brings hope for the residents of Biysk, who frequently report problems to the city administration via a Municipal Telegram chat.
As the city continues to grow and evolve, addressing these issues is crucial for the comfort and safety of its residents. The city administration is encouraged to continue processing all requests in order and passing them to the relevant services to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable Biysk for all.
