With a rich history spanning over half a century, this 52nd annual event invites you to explore the jaw-dropping grandeur of historic residences nestled in the East Dallas neighborhood. These homes are a dazzling showcase of early 20th-century architecture, considered some of the finest examples in the Southwest!

Here's what's in store for you this year:

  1. Frank Lloyd Wright Inspiration: Be captivated by a house that pays homage to the legendary architect, Mr. Frank Lloyd Wright.
  2. Crown Jewel: Marvel at the Tudor mansion, known as the Crown Jewel of Swiss Avenue, a sight that'll leave you spellbound!
  3. Century Homes Turn 100: Join the celebration as two homes reach their centenarian milestone – a birthday bash not to be missed!

And that's just the start! Here's a lowdown on the other festivities:

Roll in Style

  • Air-Conditined Coaches: Moms travel in luxury on air-conditioned mini coaches that stop at each tour house and Savage Park. No need for mom to break a sweat!
  • Horse-Drawn Carriages: For an extra-special experience, you can glide down Swiss Avenue with Mom in a horse-drawn carriage. She'll feel like royalty!

Step Back in Time

Attend a live history play at the Aldredge House Museum, where costumed actors transport you back to the early years of Swiss Avenue at 11 a.m. on Saturday – but hurry, spots are limited to the first 40 guests!

Entertainment Galore

Take a breather and enjoy an array of musical performances at shady Savage Park throughout the weekend. Featured artists include Eric Folkerth, Holland K. Smith, and Colin Boyd & Riley O'Riley. Hungry? Food trucks are on-site, ready to satisfy those hunger pangs!

Artistic Exploration

Check out an art fair on the median across from Savage Park, where you can browse crafts, jewelry, art, books, and other goodies.

Celebrate Centennials

Raise a glass with Mom on the front lawn at each hundred-year-old home on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. with complimentary birthday cookies and chilled prosecco – hey, when in Rome (or rather, Swiss Avenue)!
