Dacia, the renowned car brand known for its budget-friendly vehicles, has introduced a new addition to its lineup - the Duster Cargo. This light commercial vehicle variant of the Duster offers a unique blend of functionality and affordability.
Features and Specifications
The Duster Cargo is available in a single Expression trim and comes equipped with a range of practical features. These include 17-inch Tergan diamond-cut alloy wheels, Y-shaped LED headlights, longitudinal roof bars, body-coloured door handles, tinted windows, and rugged wheel-arch protection. For added security, an opaque film has been applied to the rear windows.
The Duster Cargo boasts a massive 1,149 litres of boot space and a 430kg payload. The rear seats have been replaced with a completely flat wooden load floor, and four lashing points are available for securing loose cargo. A removable load cover is also included.
Powertrain Options
Two powertrain options will be available for the Duster Cargo: the hybrid 155 and the mild hybrid 130 4x4. The mild hybrid 130 4x4 offers all-wheel drive and Dacia's 4x4 Terrain Control.
Camping Option
For adventure-seeking drivers, Dacia offers the 'InNature' Sleep Pack. This option transforms the rear seats and boot into a bedroom, with a double bed measuring 190x130 cm that can fold out quickly. The cost of the most expensive 'InNature' Sleep Pack option, the Sleep Pack Ultimate, is £2,165, significantly cheaper than a motorhome. The pack also includes opaque blinds for each window and a wooden drawer offering 220 litres of storage space.
Pricing and Availability
The Duster Cargo is available for purchase starting at £22,995 for the mild hybrid 130 4x4, and £23,595 for the hybrid 155. First customer deliveries are expected before the end of the year. The vehicle comes with Dacia's three-year, 60,000-mile warranty, with the option to extend up to seven years or 75,000 miles through the Dacia Zen programme.
Inside, the Duster Cargo includes a 7-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch Media Display, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Duster, a top-selling SUV from Dacia, was introduced in early 2024. With the addition of the Duster Cargo, Dacia continues to offer practical and affordable vehicles to the UK market, especially popular for its Sandero model.
