In the heart of Benrath, a new living project known as "Wohnprojekt Hospitalstraße 1" is under construction. The site, previously home to a hospital, is being transformed into a future-oriented, sustainable, and affordable multi-generational living space.

The "Gemeinsam Leben am Schloss Benrath" association, a partner in shaping the concept, acquiring new tenants, and providing local services, has played a significant role in advocating for the project's realization.
In addition, AWO VITA gGmbH will open a provider-managed group home with 24/7 care, accommodating eight elderly people in need of care. This group home is part of the multi-generational living project, allowing tenants who require care and support to live independently.
