Abode of a Danish Artifact Collector, Rich with Variety
In the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, lies a charming apartment that exudes a sense of calm and eclectic style. This is the home of Luna Signe Hørdum Nielsen, the stylist of the year for Bolig magazine and the creative mind behind Moro Moro Studio.
Luna's apartment is a visual feast, showcasing a harmonious blend of modern and traditional elements. The living room features a Saint ceiling light, a Fritz Hansen Egg chair, a Gubi TS coffee table, and Hay masks, all carefully placed to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere.
Photography in this article is by Luna herself, with kind permission. She has captured the essence of her home beautifully, from the vibrant blue and purple circular mirrors above her bed, created to evoke a 'space / heaven / sky kind of feeling,' to the colourful walls and unique pieces of art that adorn every corner.
Among her collection, Luna has a portrait of Hanne Wilhelm Hansen by Vilhelm Lundstrøm and a Cat by Andy Warhol. Her bedroom also boasts a portrait of a horse by Danish artist Peter Brandes.
The dining area is equally captivating, with a circular table adorned with a white marble top. The wall behind it is painted in the colour code NCS S 4030-G, adding a pop of warm, earthy tones to the space.
The apartment's hallway is lined with red bricks, leading to the bathroom, which features a bathtub with a wooden floor and a wall painted in colour code NCS S 1020-G. The kitchen, with its white countertop and red stove, completes this charming home.
Stepping out onto the balcony, one can find a wicker chair and a small table, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while basking in the city's vibrant energy.
